Star Story
During Fall 2025, I served as a course preceptor for a freshman-level World of Business course, working closely under the supervision of University of Hartford adjunct professor Turkessa Antrum. In this role, I supported both the professor and students by answering questions, reinforcing course concepts, and sharing insights from my own experience in the class. Serving as a preceptor strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as I regularly guided students with different learning styles and levels of familiarity with business concepts. This experience enhanced my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, manage responsibilities independently, and collaborate effectively in an academic setting, skills that directly translate to being a reliable, proactive, and supportive employee in a professional environment.
